REFUND POLICY FOR DISCONTINUED PRODUCTS

Scope and Purpose

This policy applies to (a) purchases made through our official sales channels, and (b) where the product has been discontinued. It sets out the conditions under which customers may claim a refund for a discontinued product that is non-repairable and cannot be replaced, and explains how the refund amount is calculated.

Applicability

This policy applies only when all the following conditions are met:

     The product has been discontinued by us and is no longer available for sale or replacement.

     The product is out of its main warranty period, but the specific part that has failed is still covered under a parts warranty.

     Our authorized technician has inspected the product and confirmed in writing that it cannot be repaired.

Eligible Cases

You may request a refund under this policy in the following situation:

Non-Repairable Discontinued Product: If our authorized technician confirms that your product cannot be repaired, and we are unable to provide a replacement, we will process a refund after applying the applicable depreciation. The refund amount is calculated based on the original purchase price and the number of months elapsed since the date of purchase, as set out in the Depreciation and Refund Schedule below.

Non-Eligible Cases: A refund under this policy will not be applicable in the following situations:

Product is Repairable – If our technician determines that the product can be repaired, a refund will not be issued. Repair will be arranged instead.

Replacement Available – If an equivalent replacement product is available and offered to you, this refund policy will not apply.

Within Main Warranty Period – If the product is still within its main warranty period, the standard Return and Refund Policy will apply.

Tampered or Unauthorized Service – If the product has been serviced, modified, or tampered with by anyone other than our authorized technician, it will not be eligible for a refund under this policy.

Misuse or Accidental Damage – Faults arising from misuse, accidental damage, or use contrary to the product manual are not covered.

No Proof of Purchase – A refund cannot be processed without a valid original purchase invoice.

Note: 5-Litre Instant Water Heater – This product is excluded from this policy and is not eligible for a depreciation-based refund.

Depreciation and Refund Schedule

All discontinued products undergo depreciation from the date of purchase. The refund amount is calculated by applying the Refund % from the table below to the original purchase price.

The period in months is counted from the date of the original purchase invoice to the date of the technician’s written non-repairable confirmation. Any partial month is counted as a full month.

Refund Process

Initiating the Request:  In case a issue is found on the product, then customer should reach out to our customer care team.

Customer Care Review: Our team will review your request and verify eligibility within 48 working hours.

Technician visit: Our customer care team will align a technician visit post confirming the availability at the pincode. In case technician is unavailable our team will provide alternative resolution.

Refund Calculation and Confirmation: We will calculate the refund amount based on the Depreciation and Refund Schedule and share it with you in writing for your confirmation before processing.

Refund Initiation: Once confirmed, we will initiate the refund within  2 working daysof approval.

Refunds

Mode of Refund:  We collect bank details from the customer and process the refund.

Processing Time: We initiate refunds within  2 business days of approval. Depending on your bank or payment gateway, the refund may take 3 to 7 business days to appear in your account.

Charges:  No fees are deducted when a refund is issued under this policy.

Conditions and Responsibilities

Proof of Purchase: Customers must provide the original purchase invoice when raising a request under this policy.

Technician’s Confirmation: A written confirmation from our authorized technician stating that the product is non-repairable is required to process the refund.

Supporting Evidence: Customers are encouraged to provide photographs or videos of the defect. This may be required for validation.

Service Under Warranty: Some issues may be resolved under the product’s parts warranty through repair. Where repair is possible, a refund will not be issued under this policy.
