What it does offer is a solid set of materials at a practical size: toughened glass surface, brass burners, and gas pilot auto ignition across all three burners.
Brass burners are the meaningful choice here. Brass resists corrosion better than aluminium alternatives, holds up through repeated heating cycles, and distributes heat more evenly. The gas pilot ignition system lights each burner at the turn of a knob, with no separate lighter needed.
