16 Cup Electric Popcorn Maker with Serving Bowl Lid

This popcorn machine amazed me with it's capability..bI would recommend it to others. Also, even though they say you can add oil, I would not recommend it because it can make the pan greasy. Use another stainless steel vessel and put the popcorn in with butter and salt to suit. Heat the vessel and put a scoop of butter..add the popcorn and give it a good shake. Add salt to taste.

Likes: -pops most of the corn. Corn is fairly cheap and a few unpopped ones may be a loss of 2-3 rs at max -butter melts from the top but I prefer adding it seperately or mixing it with some oil during the popping stage -No extra bowl needed Dislike: -Sometimes the moisture doesn't escape fully from the top and the popcorn is somewhat soggy -the upper blue lid doesn't fit that well after 5-6 uses for me -the packaging it came in was completely damaged like it was used by someone else. I'm not sure if it came with a measuring cup as mine didn't have one -Possibly compare it with the one from instacuppa as they have a little better quality control. Maybe the steam escapes better in that and we get less soggy popcorn. I tried pre-heating the plate and that helped reduce the soggy part a bit. My baseline of comparison is the microwave popcorn bowl and the popcorn from there used to be crisp, same goes for act 2 butter lovers popcorn. Maybe further tweaking is needed to get crisper popcorn. -For weight loss, a seperate air popcorn machine will need to be purchased as this uses oil (this is a generic con with all popcorn makers with this design) -the fit of the upper bowl is not tight over the base. It just sits over it. Sometimes it can move to the plate and that could melt the plastic in the upper bowl.
